Annual Red River Crops Conference Slated for Jan. 20-21 in Altus, Oklahoma

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service will host the annual Red River Crops Conference Jan. 20-21 in Altus, Oklahoma.

The cost of the two-day conference, which is geared toward producers in southwestern Oklahoma and the Texas Rolling Plains regions, is $40 per person. Registration details are available by contacting your local county Extension office.

The conference will run from 12:15-7:10 p.m. on Jan. 20 and 8 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. on Jan. 21.

The goal of the conference is to provide agricultural producers with timely management information applicable to the Red River production area that will create and enhance the profitability of farm and ranch enterprises.

Six Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units will be available for Texas producers — five general and one integrated pest management. Oklahoma producers will receive four units from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry.
