State Farm Bureaus Honored for Excellence

Honoring State Achievements in Agriculture

The American Farm Bureau Federation’s 106th Convention celebrated State Farm Bureaus for their outstanding programs and membership success.

The Pinnacle Award, the highest honor, was awarded to Delaware, Iowa, New York, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Wisconsin for excellence in program implementation and member growth.

Innovative initiatives were recognized through New Horizon Awards. Delaware’s #WhyFarmBureau campaign highlighted the diverse membership benefits. Illinois celebrated family farming with “We are the 96%.” Michigan’s FARM Science Van expanded school outreach by 11%, delivering agricultural education.

Montana used creative tools like branded stress-relief cows and postcards for member recruitment. South Carolina’s Land Trust initiative protected over 2,500 acres of farmland. Wisconsin’s “Gather Wisconsin” initiative connected consumers to farmers through blogs, recipes, and events.

The Awards of Excellence spotlighted Advocacy, Partnerships, Outreach, and Leadership. Massachusetts and Nevada excelled in Partnerships and Outreach, while states like Alabama, Florida, and Texas received recognition in all categories.

“These awards highlight the dedication and innovation of Farm Bureaus nationwide,” remarked Karl Barnhart, EVP.

Other recognized Farm Bureaus included Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Michigan, and Utah, reflecting the nation’s commitment to agricultural growth.

This year’s honors reaffirm the importance of innovation and collaboration in strengthening the agricultural sector.
