Register for the 59th annual South Western Ontario Pork Conference

The 59^th annual South Western Ontario Pork Conference (SWOPC) will take place in person at the University of Huelph's Ridgetown Campus in Ridgetown, Ontario on Wednesday February 22, 2023.

Producers and industry representatives will gather together along with feature speaker, Dr. John Patience, Professor Emeritus of Iowa State University and global leader in swine nutrition education, will wrap-up the program.

The agenda is as follows:

12:30PM – An informative walking tour of the Ridgetown Campus Swine Education Centre. Curtis Mikel, College Research Professor, will host the on-site tour and is excited to show producers this exceptional teaching facility.

2:00-4:00PM – Enjoy the Conference Trade Show and meet with a diverse group of industry representatives

4:00PM – Guest speaker line up:

• Ryan Martin, Producer, Chatsworth, Ontario will share some key learning experiences;
• Chantel Farmer, Research Scientist, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Quebec, will share her latest findings in swine lactation biology;
• Dr. Ryan Tenbergen, Veterinarian, Demeter Veterinary Services, Woodstock, will address local herd health issues.
