Do you know an individual, a group, a business or not-for-profit organization that deserves recognition for volunteer work in your community?
The Prime Minister's Volunteer Awards recognize the exceptional contributions of volunteers, local businesses and innovative not-for-profit organizations in improving the well-being of families and their communities.
A total of 17 awards are given, two at the national level and 15 at the regional level. Award recipients are recognized at a ceremony and can identify an eligible not-for-profit organization to receive a grant.
The nomination period for this year's awards runs until April 15, 2013.
