Feb 08, 2019
LUCKNOW ONTARIO – It is with great sadness that Snobelen Farms Ltd. and the Snobelen Family confirm the sudden death of Troy Snobelen, President, in a snowmobile accident on Saturday, February 2, 2019.

“One of the many legacies Troy has left is a strong, vibrant company led by an outstanding management team that he built and mentored as well as a talented group of people instrumental in the day-to-day operations of the business,” commented a family spokesperson.  “The Snobelen Family is extremely proud of Troy’s many accomplishments personally and professionally, including the business.”

Troy’s brother and sister, Sam Snobelen and Tanya Snobelen Leppington, will be supporting the management team going forward. The company is committed to continuing to serve the many loyal customers now and for many years to come.

The Snobelen family would like to thank everyone for the tremendous outpouring of
condolences and expressions of concern. “We are extremely grateful for the love and support we have received from friends in the community and people around the world,” the family spokesperson said. The Snobelen Family respectfully requests privacy for the next few days as a private funeral is planned and they mourn the loss of a wonderful father, partner, son, brother and friend.

The public is invited to a casual come-and-go celebration of Troy’s life on Saturday, February 9, from 1-5 pm at the Lucknow Community Centre. After receiving many inquiries about donations, the family is currently investigating the establishment of a memorial fund in Troy’s name. Further details will follow when available.
