Mizzou Weed Science: An Update on Resources Available to You

It has been a while since we have shared links to available weed science resources.

Recently, we have summarized many of our 2019 field trials and they are now available online. Follow this link to find results of herbicide trials organized by crop, weed, or specific chemistry: https://bit.ly/33Rrei4

Additionally, we are always posting current research and weed-related management information on our social media sites and encourage you to follow: Mizzou Weed Science on facebook and @ShowMeWeeds on Twitter.

We also have two apps that you may find useful; a weed identification app called ID Weeds (Android, IOS) and a herbicide injury app called Herbicide Injury ID (Android, IOS). ID Weeds is a comprehensive app of 461 weeds that allows you to search for information and images of specific weeds or to identify weeds by keying out plant features. The Herbicide Injury ID app has three search features that allow you to determine what type of herbicide caused injury and to view images of injury symptoms on corn, soybean, and various ornamentals and specialty crops. A fourth feature of the Herbicide Injury ID app allows you to submit a photo and description of plant injury for diagnostic assistance.

Lastly, we have an ongoing survey to help us better understand Missouri soybean producer's experiences and satisfaction with dicamba and the Xtend soybean system. If you are a farmer or advise farmers in the state of Missouri and have not already responded, please click here to take the brief survey: https://missouri.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0UibUp0ZPmFVeGF Results from the survey will be presented at the Missouri Crop Management Conference (https://plantsciencesweb.missouri.edu/cmc/) on December 17th.
