New Joystick Enhances Comfort and Precision in Farming

Fendt has introduced ErgoSteer, a state-of-the-art joystick steering system available for all FendtONE tractors, specifically those in the 500 series and larger.

This innovative product is designed to transform the way tractors are operated in fields, providing a more ergonomic and efficient steering alternative to traditional wheel systems, Daniel Smith, senior strategic marketing manager with Fendt, explained to Farms.com.

ErgoSteer, a left-hand joystick, allows operators to manage tractor movements with ease, significantly reducing physical strain and increasing comfort during long working hours.

This joystick not only enables basic steering functions such as moving left and right but also features adjustable steering sensitivity. This customization allows for quicker or more precise movements, crucial for operations requiring high levels of accuracy.

The introduction of ErgoSteer aligns with the growing demand for precision agriculture products. Its ability to enable auto-steer further enhances its appeal, particularly among farmers looking for innovative solutions to improve productivity and reduce operational fatigue.

ErgoSteer is ideal for use with Fendt's 500 and 700 series tractors, especially in loader applications, says Smith.

By integrating such technologies, Fendt continues to provide solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern agriculture.

For those interested in adopting this advanced steering technology, ErgoSteer is available as an add-on for existing tractors and may be included in new models.

Smith explains more in the below video.
