Ingenium to host 2024-2025 annual public meeting

Canada's Museums of Science and Innovation will host its annual public meeting on Thursday, October 30, 2025, showcasing its accomplishments over 2024-2025 – the last fiscal year in its 2020-2025 Strategic Plan, driven by the vision: "Ingenium ignites ingenuity."

Board of Trustees Chair Neil Russon and President and CEO Christina Tessier will provide an overview of Ingenium's organizational activities, including exhibitions, research and collections, outreach and educational programming, and operational highlights from 2024–2025. A summary of the audited financial statements for the most recent fiscal year will also be presented.

In addition to maintaining and developing Canada's national collection of scientific and technological objects and library materials, Ingenium operates three national museums in Ottawa – the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, and the Canada Science and Technology Museum. These museums offer multi-sensory programming that engages Canadians on-site, online, and around the country.

In 2024–2025, the organization made significant strides toward its three strategic goals: Connecting society with science, technology, and innovation; Cultivating a sense of belonging; and Strengthening its foundations. Highlights from the year include expanding STEAM programming and youth engagement, deepening accessibility initiatives, collaborating with Indigenous and diverse communities, and ensuring long-term organizational sustainability.
