Federated Co-op has officially opened a new high-throughput fertilizer terminal northwest of Regina — it is located at Hanley, about 200 kilometers northwest of the Queen City.
The 45 thousand ton storage will enable Federated Co-op to provide various types of fertilizer to farmers in a timely manner, according to fertilizer director Dan Mulder.
“We stock dry urea, dry phosphate, dry potash and dry ammonium sulphate,” Mulder said. “We also have bins that hold dry micro-nutrient fertilizer products.”
