Hagie Manufacturing Company Introduces New 2014 STS Sprayer Product Line

Hagie Manufacturing Company introduced its new 2014 STS self-propelled sprayer product line this fall, which features a new drive system, cab design, engine and solution system for optimal operator efficiency, safety and performance.

The 2014 Hagie STS model features a revolutionary new drive system designed with optimal torque management and traction control for improved efficiency and superior performance. All Wheel Traction Control comes standard to carry the machine through deep mud, across rugged terrain and any adverse conditions that you ask of it. Experience peak performance with maximum capability to cover more acres and increase profitability.

The more spacious new cab was designed with operator safety and ergonomics in mind, while boasting 25 cubic feet more space than its predecessor. The 2014 STS is the first cab in the industry to offer a decal pedal, droplet size monitor, as well as an infinitely programmable drive system measuring field efficiency to optimize operator to machine performance. The new pressurized 2014 STS cab features the Sy-Klone RESPA air filtration system for the safest operator environment on the market. The 2014 can is also equipped with additional safety features including Bluetooth and a standard backup camera.

“The STS product line delivers customers with application solutions for effective full season capability,” states Nick Rieck, director of engineering. “The new features of the drive system and cab, when coupled with the 2014 STS application system, integrates state-of-the-art efficiency solutions designed for sprayer operators to optimize man to machine performance and cover more acres,” states Rieck.

The Cummins engine is compliant with Tier 4 emission regulations, with features including optimized airflow and serviceability with a powered hood opening. The cooling system is equipped with a new variable speed hydraulically driven reversing fan and when combined with the new drive system, will improve fuel economy 5-10%.

The new solution system enhances priming and reduces restriction while providing more consistent flow to booms, resulting in more precise spray coverage.

Additional new 2014 STS options from Hagie include an Injection System and Tall Corn Package. Enhance versatility of the STS application system with various attachments, including detasseling and Nitrogen toolbar attachments.
