The dairy sector is a key driver of our economy with nearly $24 billion in sales by farmers and food processors, including over $7 billion in Quebec. When dairy farmers prosper, Canadian families benefit from high-quality products, and a strong and dynamic agricultural sector.
Speaking today during a tour of local dairy farms, MP Denis Paradis (Brome — Missisquoi), on behalf of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Minister Lawrence MacAulay, highlighted the investments made under the Dairy Farm Investment Program to support dairy producers as they improve their farms’ productivity and efficiency.
