Farm Bureau Extends Ag Challenge Deadline

Ag Startups Now Have Until June 15 to Apply Online

The deadline to enter the 2026 Ag Innovation Challenge has been extended to June 15, giving agricultural startups and entrepreneurs extra time to apply for the prestigious competition.

Organized by the American Farm Bureau Federation in collaboration with Farm Credit, this national business challenge highlights innovative solutions in farming.

Open to all types of agricultural businesses, the competition welcomes applicants from various fields, including livestock, row crops, specialty crops, and aquaculture. The aim is to support new ideas that help solve ongoing issues in agriculture.

Winners of the challenge receive major financial backing. The top winner will earn $100,000, while the runner-up receives $25,000.

Two additional finalists will each be awarded $10,000. These funds help startups scale their ideas and make a real impact in the ag industry. 

Participants also receive expert-led training sessions, mentorship opportunities, and exposure to potential investors. This combination of financial and professional support makes the challenge an exciting opportunity for ag innovators across the country.
