Clemson Extension is offering a free virtual engagement series to help forage and livestock producers in the southeastern United States learn how to enhance the resilience of their systems to extreme weather events.
The series, “Building Resilience in Forage and Livestock Systems,” is a partnership with the USDA Climate Hub and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.
Experts will share ways farmers can plan for and recover after bad weather. Topics will include keeping livestock healthy, managing pastures and finding helpful resources. A roundtable session will let farmers ask questions and discuss ideas.
