The 40th Canada Farm Progress Show was officially kicked off in Regina on Tuesday night, in what organizers are hoping will be another half-billion dollar venture for the businesses and entrepreneurs involved.

Agriculture Minister Lyle Stewart — one of many keynote speakers at the event at the new Mosaic Stadium — says it’s more than just the city of Regina which enjoys the benefits of the technological and financial windfall of the biggest show of it’s kind.
