Bright futures in beef - Colvin scholarship winners

Farming, cows, and the beef industry. It's not just about food; it's about the future. This year, 23 awesome students have a reason to smile. They won money from the Colvin Scholarship Fund. 

This scholarship helps students who dream of working in farming or research. It's named after Louis “Mick” Colvin, a very important person in the Certified Angus Beef world.  

Over 24 years, this fund gave away $500,000 to 144 students. That's a lot of dreams coming true. 

Danielle Matter, from Certified Angus Beef, thinks these students are super special. She said, "These young people are amazing! They'll soon be making big changes in farming and beef. We're proud to help them."

• PRODUCTION AGRICULTURE AWARDS: Hats off to Lizzie Schafer, Karlee Sailer, Tucker Huseman, Justina Slim, Tanner Mickey, Audrey Tarochione, and Will Hauerland. 

• GRADUATE AWARDS: Big applause for Lindsey Decker, Keayla Harr, Megan Eckhardt, Anna Scott, Anna Kobza, and Jade Edwards. 

• UNDERGRADUATE AWARDS: Great job Ava Perrier, Bailee Schiefelbein, Madison Bemisderfer, Clay Pelton, Alexis Lake, Nikki Keeton, Amelia Miller, Katelyn Engel, Chloe Hamaker, and James Ulmer.
