Bioenterprise Canada is pleased to announce the successful applicants from round 2 of the Grow Ontario Accelerator Hub (GOAH). Twenty (20) Ontario-based companies have been selected to receive advisory, mentorship, and support services through our growing national network, Canada’s Food & Agri-Tech Engine.
“The Grow Ontario Accelerator Hub helps companies turn their agri-food and agri-tech innovations into market-ready solutions,” said the Honourable Heath MacDonald, federal Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food. “These initiatives will help to keep Canadian products at the forefront of food innovation – boosting sales for producers and success for the sector.”
“The Grow Ontario Accelerator Hub will help local, cutting-edge agribusinesses expand and enhance their long-term competitiveness,” said Trevor Jones, Minister of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness. “This investment, in partnership with Bioenterprise Canada, protects Ontario’s $51 billion agri-food industry and supports growth for years to come.”
The Grow Ontario Accelerator Hub is funded by the Governments of Canada and Ontario through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP), a five-year, $3.5 billion federal-provincial-territorial initiative. GOAH provides support to innovative Ontario-based companies to advance more solutions and technologies to market.
