Beekeeping for the Backyard Gardener
 
Are you bee curious? Learn what it takes to keep bees in your own backyard! The Four Seasons Gardening program from University of Illinois Extension continues with the second session of the series titled, Beekeeping for the Backyard Gardener.

This program will take place Tuesday, February 17 at 1:30 p.m. at the McLean County Extension office, 1615 Commerce Parkway in Bloomington. Master Gardeners will present this webinar via the University of Illinois teleconferencing system, allowing live discussion between the presenter and gardeners throughout Illinois.
 
Beekeeping is a growing and rewarding hobby that can be enjoyed by most backyard gardeners.Join Jennifer Fishburn, Horticulture Educator, as she discusses "Beekeeping for the Backyard Gardener.'' She will discuss basics of starting a backyard colony, understanding honeybees and hive management.
