Alberta direct cattle sales last week saw light trade develop with weighted average steer and heifer prices closing the week at 169.00 and 167.25 respectively. Cattle that were bought last week were being scheduled for the first half of April delivery. US Trade In the US, trade was delayed until Friday and sale volumes were light. Dressed sales in the North were 3.00 higher than the previous week while southern regions traded 2.00-3.00 higher on a live basis.
