The tractors will make a right turn onto Highway 20 until Manor Park Road, and make another right turn on Range Road 2234.
The procession will continue east on Township Rd. 372, turning north back onto Peck Road and heading to the Gas Can Café for lunch.
After lunch, the tractors will return to the Vintage Club.
Currently about 30 tractors are participating in the event.
Kiefer, who himself has a collection of about 50 tractors, has narrowed his potential ride down to two.
“I might be on my 1952 (McCormick) WD9 or the 1952 (Farmall) Super MD,” he said. “Those are my favourites.”
Kiefer still uses some older pieces of equipment on the farm.
When he sees the vintage equipment compared to modern tractors, it puts into perspective how long farmers of the past would’ve needed to complete fieldwork.
“I think about how today, farmers can get 160 acres of work done in a short period of time,” he said. “Whereas that could’ve taken a farmer multiple days to finish.”
