New Jersey agriculture gains leadership with Andrzejczak as FSA director
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced the appointment of Robert Andrzejczak as the new State Executive Director (SED) for the Farm Service Agency (FSA) in New Jersey. Andrzejczak officially joined the state FSA team on August 11, 2025.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins emphasized the importance of these appointments, noting that new state leaders will strengthen USDA’s commitment to putting farmers first. FSA Administrator Bill Beam also highlighted that state directors play a critical role in supporting rural communities and delivering vital agricultural programs.
Andrzejczak, a resident of Cape May, brings both personal and professional experience to his new role. He is a decorated U.S. Army veteran, awarded the Bronze Star with Valor and the Purple Heart after being severely wounded in Iraq in 2009. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to public service in the New Jersey General Assembly from 2013 to 2019, where he chaired the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee, before serving in the State Senate.
