Experienced leader to drive innovation and growth in Canada's food sector
Protein Industries Canada has appointed Tyler Groeneveld as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 27. Groeneveld previously served as Chair of the organization’s Board of Directors, providing valuable insight and experience in Canada’s agriculture and food sector.
The CEO selection process was led by a committee chaired by Annette Revet, Vice-Chair of the Board. An independent executive search firm supported the process to ensure transparency and objectivity. Revet emphasized the importance of strong and stable leadership to continue the organization’s momentum and success.
Groeneveld has an extensive career spanning over 31 years in agriculture and food, including senior roles with Corteva and its legacy companies. His most recent position was Commercial Lead for North America, giving him deep industry knowledge and leadership experience.
