Royal Winter Fair Continues to Showcase Canadian Agriculture Traditions

On Friday, the Royal Agriculture Winter Fair will open its doors to mark the 90th anniversary of the fair -which is considered the largest agriculture fair and equestrian competition in the world. The fair can be watched live in 74 different countries using the link that can be found on the Royals website. The event will run for 10 days 9:00am – 9:00pm from Nov. 2-11th and is expected to attract over 150,000 visitors. Opening day admission to celebrate the fair is only $9.00; and for the rest of the event, admission is $18.00 for adults, $16 for seniors and $14 for kids under 17.
The fair has just about something for everyone, including livestock competitions, educational opportunities, giant vegetables on display, butter sculptures, celebrity chefs, food and so much more!

• Ontario Junior Barrow Showmanship (Swine) – 8:30am
• Limousin Jr. Show (Beef Cattle) – 10:30am
• Hereford Jr. Show (Beef Cattle) – 11:30am
• Charolais Show (Beef Cattle) – 1:00pm
• Simmental Show – 2:00pm
• Ontario Junior Barrow Auction (Swine) – 5:00pm
