RCMP in two provinces are asking for the public’s help to locate stolen tractors.

In B.C., a Kubota tractor went missing from a property at 5 a.m. on the morning of July 7 from a business on the 1000 block of Stevens Road, West Kelowna RCMP say.

Businesses in the area include Avenue Machinery, a full-line Kubota dealer. It’s not confirmed if the tractor went missing from the dealership.

The missing tractor is model number M4N-071HDCC1 and has an estimated value of more than $70,000.

Surveillance footage shows a white pickup truck with a flatbed trailer attached and the tractor on top.

A similar crime occurred at the same business on June 4.

During that incident, thieves drove the tractor through the fence before loading it onto a trailer, Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers says.

Anyone with information about these missing tractors is asked to call 1-800-222-8477 and reference file 2024-37875.

In Saskatchewan, the Weyburn-Radville-Fillmore RCMP is searching for information on a stolen red tractor.

A 2015 Massey Ferguson 1736 with a DL120 loader and finishing mower attached went missing from a farmyard on July 3.

The tractor sells for close to $40,000, depending on the auction site.

Anyone with information about the stolen Massey Ferguson tractor is encouraged to contact Weyburn RCMP at 306-848-4640, 310-RCMP, or to call Crime Stoppers.

In 2021, the Saskatchewan RCMP provided tips for keeping equipment safe.

They include installing motion-sensor security lights and recording serial numbers.
