New 30000 square foot location to open in 2026

Princess Auto is expanding its Ontario presence with a brand-new store planned for Guelph. Scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2026, this 30,000-square-foot location will bring a full selection of tools, equipment, and farm supplies closer to customers in southwestern Ontario.

Built from the ground up, the store will feature a modern layout designed for efficiency and an improved shopping experience. Farmers, industrial workers, tradespeople, and other residents will no longer need to travel to nearby cities to shop for Princess Auto products.

“It will be more convenient for customers to come shop our unique assortment of tools, equipment and more right in Guelph,” said Mike Kivell, Princess Auto’s Vice-President of Retail Operations for Ontario. He added that shoppers will have the chance to view products in person and get advice from knowledgeable team members.

The retailer is known for its wide product range, including air and power tools, farm equipment, hand tools, hydraulics, metal fabrication supplies, outdoor power equipment, seasonal products, shop and garage essentials, surplus items, and truck and trailer accessories. All purchases come with the company’s Royal Service promise, ensuring every sale meets customer satisfaction.

Ontario already hosts more than 20 Princess Auto stores, and the company continues to grow. Recent openings include Burlington in June and a second London location in October, alongside a relocated Hamilton store.

The new Guelph outlet, located at Woodlawn Road and Royal Road, reflects Princess Auto’s commitment to long-term investment in the community. “Opening in Guelph continues strong momentum of growth in Ontario for next year,” said Kivell. “We're not just building a store in Guelph, we're planting roots.”

This expansion ensures that local farmers and workers will have easier access to the high-quality tools and equipment they need, strengthening both convenience and customer service in the region.
