The Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency (OSMA) has released the nomination form for its 2013 Outstanding Shepherd Award. The three-page nomination form requires the nominator to outline candidate’s contributions to the sheep industry, education/honours/awards and community involvement. Forms are due to OSMA by Aug. 20, 2013. Some of the eligibility guidelines for the Outstanding Shepherd Award include:•The award is only open to members of the Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency.•Individuals or couples may be considered. •Candidates are examined by the contributions that they have made to the sheep industry. •Awards will be presented at the OSMA General Meeting. •All nomination forms must be accompanied with two to five letters of support.
