A new case of porcine epidemic diarrhea (PED) virus was reported today by Ontario Pork.
This case, on a farrow-to-wean farm in Elgin Country, is the first PED diagnosis in the province since March 31.
PED was first confirmed in Ontario in January 2014. Since then there have been over 90 cases.
