CR10 And 9200 Series Corn Head Boost Harvest Speed and Efficiency

New Holland’s CR10 combine is the second-largest combine in their lineup—just behind the CR11—it is designed to offer impressive power, smart harvesting, and better cost efficiency.

Curtis Hillen, cash crop segment lead with New Holland, met with Farms.com for a front-to-back overview of this combine.

Equipped with 634 horsepower, the CR10 features a 455-bushel grain tank and a 4.5-bushel-per-second unload rate.

It includes twin 24-inch rotors and a twin clean system, providing top-tier performance while helping reduce grain loss through its new automated cleaning features.

New Holland emphasizes the total cost of harvest in the CR10’s design.

Beyond speed and capacity, this combine also focuses on grain savings and better residue management, which helps prepare fields for the next planting season.

Complementing the CR10 is the 9200 Series corn head.

The 30-inch, 12-row variant is a new addition to the series, joining 8-row and 16-row options. These heads are designed for high-capacity harvesting, especially when paired with the CR10 or CR11.

Key features of the corn head include a large rear auger that boosts harvest speed and newly designed lightweight row units. These lighter units help reduce soil compaction, making it easier to run larger headers on existing combines.

Other upgrades include a tall corn divider for easier transitions between different field conditions and an integrated toolbar for a factory-fit stalk stomper system. These stalk stompers are adjustable and removable for transport, offering flexibility in the field.

Also available is an optional row guidance system featuring a wishbone-style sensor, which works seamlessly with the IntelliView 12 display on model year 2025 combines for improved navigation.
