The Ontario Sheep Marketing Agency (OSMA) announced that it has selected a new general manager to take over management of the organization effective April 1, 2013. Jennifer MacTavish was selected as the new general manager and has been an Executive Director for the Canadian Sheep Federation for almost 8 years. MacTavish brings a wealth of knowledge to the industry and has extensive experience working with industry and government organizations. OSMA works with the entire sheep industry from sheep and lamb producers to wool industries in the province. OSMA provides marketing support, promotion, advocacy, research and educational tools for Ontario sheep producers. The general manager will play a pivotal role in leading the organization while meeting one of its core mandates - to enhance returns for sheep producers.
