Global farm leaders gather in Kentucky to celebrate innovation tradition

Kentucky will welcome farmers and agriculture professionals from around the world as the National Farm Machinery Show celebrates its 60th anniversary. Known as the largest indoor farm show in the world, the event will take place February 11–14 at the Kentucky Exposition Center, offering climate-controlled access to the latest farming tools and ideas.

Since its beginning in 1966 with just 86 exhibitors, the show has grown alongside the agriculture industry. Today, the trade show floor is completely sold out, with a waiting list reflecting its strong reputation. Exhibitors will present modern farm equipment, agricultural drones, and new developments in artificial intelligence. Well-known companies such as John Deere and Case IH will be among those showcasing innovations. Educational seminars will also help farmers plan for the year ahead.

A major highlight of the event is the Championship Tractor Pull held at Freedom Hall. Nearly 200 drivers will compete in multiple sessions, demonstrating power and precision. Performances will also be streamed online for viewers worldwide.

Visitors will notice large-scale construction at the venue, marking the biggest expansion in the facility’s history. This investment by the Kentucky General Assembly will soon make the center one of the largest in the nation and expand future show space.

As the event approaches, organizers recognize farmers for their essential role in feeding communities and supporting the economy. The show continues its long-standing mission of bringing the best in agriculture together under one roof.
