Automatic Variable Chamber Baler Offer Flexibility and Power

McHale’s advanced V6 Series automatic variable chamber baler is designed to meet the growing needs of farmers and contractors.

This fully automatic baler Series is gaining popularity in the U.S. for its versatility and user-friendly features.

Farms.com sat down with Eoin Clarke, marketing executive with McHale, to learn more about this series and its benefits for farmers.

The V6 Series can produce bales from 2 feet to 5 feet 6 inches, making it suitable for a wide range of forage types, including dry hay, straw, and wet silage.

Built as a three-belt machine, it features a Profi-Flo pick-up system and options for either cam-track or camless pick-ups with double drive.

These features ensure consistent performance and reduce the workload for the operator.

A key highlight of the V6 Series is its high-performance netting unit that binds bales tightly and allows users to adjust the inner and outer cores.

This helps achieve the ideal bale density, important for storage and transport.

The V6 series includes models like the semi-automatic V6 750 with a 15-knife chopper, and the 740 model without knives, providing tailored solutions for different farming needs.

For those requiring larger bales, the V8 model extends bale size up to 6 feet 3 inches while sharing many components with the V6.

All models are compatible with McHale’s Expert Plus control consoles and offer options for ISOBUS or ISO-Play 7 and 12-inch screens.

They feature heavy-duty tailgates with load sensing and bale shape indicators, helping drivers optimize their baling patterns.
