Available at dealerships in the Spring of 2022, Kubota has introduced two new compact tractors to its Standard L Series.

The L3302F/DT/HST and L3902D/DT/HST tractor models feature all important comfort features, a new design, and include an option for independent PTO on HST models—and are known by Kubota as the L02 tractors.

The L Series debuted in 1967, and has, since 1997, evolved into the Standard L Series. The popular compact tractor line from Kubota has built a reputation for affordability, durability and versatility, and has earned its rightful position as the core of the Kubota compact tractor lineup and the top selling compact tractor in North America for more than 10 years.

The L Series provides operators with the durability and versatility t tackle any jobs a small property owner can toss its way—all at an affordable price.

The L3302 and L3902 ROPS is available in a 4WD with the options of Gear-Drive or HST transmission, with the L3302 offers 33 HP, and the slightly larger L3902 model has 37.5 HP.

The HST provides speed and forward/reverse control accessed by pressing down on the pedal and is ideal for first-time drivers, according to Kubota. The Gear-Drive offers power and versatility with eight forward and eight reverse speeds.

Other key features include:

  • PTO Power: 28 – 32.1 HP;
  • Lift Capacity: 1,985 lbs (900kgs);
  • Independent PTO Switch (Clutchless) on HST model – easily engaged through an electric switch;
  • Dual Brake Pedal for optional independent left- or right-hand braking providing a greater turning radius.

The suspension seat helps provide long-lasting operator comfort through a wide range of terrain, and is included in all L02 tractors, with optional armrests available.

Rubber floormats come standard helping reduce vibration while adding foot traction.

For styling, the new tractors offer a modern bonnet and grille while still keeping the tractor and engine protected, and it looks sleek.

The L02’s also features LED headlights and side work lights to provide greater visibility when working late night or early morning.

It also features easily accessible ergonomic lever grips and steering wheel for safer and smoother operation during all types of weather.

These new tractors also come with a Common-Rail System, an electronic controlled fuel injection which aids in reducing noise and vibration.

While service intervals remain the same as from other L Series tractor models, the L3302 and L3902 has been altered by Kubota to allow for owners to do their own self-maintenance on the vehicles. Oil and transmission hydraulic fluid fill locations are color coded, and each is easily accessible on the side of the tractor.
Kubota said that its new LA526 front loader is the standard loader option for the L3302 and L3309. It provides a lift capacity of 1,144 lbs (~520kgs), about what previous L Series tractors offer.

However, since it did not increase lift capacity, Kubota has instead offered on increasing its ease of use. The loader valve is designed for simultaneous boom and bucket operation, and with a deeper, curved bucket, the tractor and loader combo is easier to maneuver and transport.

The front loader is easily removable without tools, and has predrilled holes for a bolt-on cutting edge.

The L3302 and L3902 look, feel and operate as a premium compact tractor.
While the new tractors will be available in the US, no delivery date to Canada has been made as of yet.
