The Company’s First Introduction into the Powershift Market

KIOTI Tractor has introduced new models to its HX Series of tractors.

The newly released HX1302 and HX1402 models expand its HX series with 130 and 140 horsepower variants.

These tractors feature a larger frame, longer wheelbase, and upgraded components for enhanced performance and efficiency.

Farms.com recently connected with Joel Hicks, product line manager with KIOTI, to learn more about these new models and the company’s move into the 130+ horsepower market.

Enhanced Power and Performance

The HX1302 provides 109 PTO horsepower, while the HX1402 offers 120 PTO horsepower, crossing the 100 PTO horsepower threshold.

Both models are powered by a 3.8-liter engine and feature a semi power shift transmission with 32 total speeds, including 16 creep speeds and 16 standard speeds. The hydraulic power shuttle allows for seamless forward and reverse shifting.

The hydraulic system has been upgraded from an open-center to a closed-center system, providing over 40 gallons per minute of total hydraulic flow. This improves efficiency and ensures high output for implements and attachments.

Hicks also explained that the new tractors come with a modern display that integrates audio features, hitch controls, and shift settings. Farmers can adjust shift patterns directly from the screen, reducing the need to manually operate switches and knobs.

This release marks KIOTI Tractor’s first step into the power shift market.

The 8-speed semi power shift system allows for smooth operation with three shift points located on the armrest, gear shift lever, and joystick lever.
