Council staff engaged directly with visitors, discussing the role of U.S. grains in China’s evolving feed sector. They also explained how U.S. products can support sustainable livestock farming and reduce reliance on imports like soybean meal.
As part of CAHE, the U.S. Agricultural Trade Office hosted a seminar on U.S. animal nutrition and swine breeding. Expert Brian Wang shared how the Council supports global grain trade and feed innovation.
Chinese researcher Dr. Zhu Zengyong also praised CFP’s value in improving feed performance alongside sorghum and other grains.
The Council capped its visit with a dinner that brought together top livestock and aquaculture leaders from firms like Haid Group, Tongwei Group, and COFCO. Discussions focused on future feed trials, product innovation, and U.S.–China cooperation.
By participating in CAHE, the Council reinforced its role in trade, opened new market opportunities, and supported China’s protein security goals through sustainable solutions.
