Hendrix Genetics Launches Nexus 100

Hendrix Genetics Swine has unveiled the Nexus 100, the first product in its new Nexus brand, during the SPACE 2025 event. This innovative swine breeding solution is designed for farmers who seek more than just higher output. It focuses on consistency, survivability, and overall system efficiency, helping producers improve profitability in today’s challenging industry.

Unpredictability remains one of the largest problems in modern pig farming. Health concerns, labor shortages, and uneven results make it difficult for producers to plan and grow. The Nexus 100 was developed to address these issues by offering stable performance and exceptional survival rates. It integrates easily into high-pressure operations, allowing producers to move forward with confidence.

“Nexus is not just a new product line. It’s a smart step forward for producers who demand more than just output,” said Raf Beeren, Managing Director of Hendrix Genetics Swine. “It’s designed for those who aim for Total System Profitability through consistency, efficiency, and control.”

The Nexus 100 combines the genetics of Hypor and Danish Genetics, creating a balanced profile. This cross brings together the strength of the Danish Hybrid and the mothering skills of the Hypor Libra, resulting in around 15 healthy piglets per litter. The focus is on maximizing survivability rather than simply increasing litter size.

Produced within a 100% PRRS free breeding program and backed by Denmark’s strict health standards, the Nexus 100 offers farmers a reliable and healthy option. Early production has shown the highest survivability rate in its category, reducing losses and saving labor.

Commercial contracts are now open, with deliveries starting in spring 2026. Hendrix Genetics Swine also plans to expand the Nexus line, ensuring continued progress and added value across the global pork industry.
