The first day of Canada’s Farm Show has come to a close, and excitement is already building for day two of the event.
Canada’s Farm Show had a strong start on Tuesday with no shortage of activity, product launches, and great discussions.
The first announcement was made by Honeybee Manufacturing, who kicked off the show by announcing their AirFlex NXT. It is an upgraded header with innovative design choices such as cab adjustable skid shoes and a narrower profile end shield.
Another product launch that happened on Tuesday was from the DoMoreAg Foundation who announced AgTalk, a new anonymous mental health support platform. Farmers can use this platform to connect with others who understand your situation, support your community, and explore resources.
Alongside product announcements, day one featured the announcement of the Innovation Awards presented by Farms.com, Innovation Saskatchewan, and Greenwave Innovations. The winners of this year's awards went to InputsPro, Accusampler UltraMT, and Binhalo.
The day ended with the Cultivator 24 Hour Startup pitch finale. Participants set the stage to present AgTech products they built in less than 24 hours. This challenge was filled with innovation, collaboration, and education for all teams.
Visitors and exhibitors are now getting ready to enjoy day two of the three-day event. Day two is focused on innovation with announcements and conversations about crop intelligence, ag technology, entrepreneurship and more.
