Lussier-Bessette became the first woman inducted into the Quebec Agricultural Hall of Fame in 1996. She’s a past president of the Rouville Agricultural Society and served as the first female president of the Saint-Hyacinthe agricultural exhibition. Lussier-Bessette earned a “farmer of the year” title in the Saint-Hyacinthe region in 1994.
