“FCC is proud to support 4-H Canada and its programs, including through the FCC 4-H Club Fund,” said Justine Hendricks, FCC president and CEO. “4-H Canada exemplifies the character, hard work, and innovation that drives the success of Canada’s agriculture industry. We are grateful for the work 4-H does in providing exceptional programming to support the next generation of producers.”
This year, Ontario recipients include a diverse range of clubs involved in various activities, such as dairy farming, cooking, woodworking, sewing, and community arts. For instance, clubs like “Carleton Place Sewing Club,” “Forest Dairy Club,” and “Stormont Livestock” focus on hands-on learning that builds both technical and interpersonal skills.
The FCC 4-H Club Fund has played a significant role in shaping the future of agriculture and empowering youth to lead. These grants allow clubs to enhance programming and reach more young people in their communities.
Applications for the next round of FCC 4-H Club Fund grants will open in August 2025. To see the complete list of 2024 recipients or to learn more about the fund, visit 4-h-canada.ca/club-fund.
