Farm Power: Case machinery grab spotlight at BigIron auction

An online auction hosted by BigIron Auctions on June 1 saw different pieces of Case machinery sell for more than $100,000.

The auction sale topper was a 2014 Case IH 4430 S P Patriot Sprayer, which sold for $195,750.

Specs: 818 hours, 120’ wide, 1200 gal, AIM Command, 7 section control, 20”-30” spacing, combo rate, dual body, 5 sensor auto boom height control, auto boom wheels, hydraulic trade adjust, accu boom section control, FPT Tier 4a 8.7 L 6 cylinder engine, 325 engine hp, hydrostat transmission.

A 2013 Case IH 7230 combine sold for $163,000.

Specs: 679.64 engine hours, 462 separator hours, 2 speed elevator and unload auger, lateral header tilt with rock trap, large wire and large skip wire modules, upper sieve, 1 1/8” cloz slat, lower sieve 1 1/8”, unload auger extended wear for 40’ header, standard unload spot, independent cross auger unload control, standard cut straw chopper, 380 engine hp, drive tires 900/60R32, steering tires 540/65R30.
