If you ever see a fire or smell smoke, call for help immediately. Never try to hide or put it out yourself. Matches and lighters are not toys—only adults should handle them. 

A tidy place is a safer place. Cleaning up your area and sweeping the floor regularly can prevent small items from becoming fuel for a fire. 

Every family should have a meeting spot outside the house or barn. In case of fire, go there right away and wait for others. This helps ensure that all family members are safe.
