The weather plays a key roll every growing season – how will it impact 2021 yields?

The 2021 10th Annual U.S. Corn Belt Crop Tour will run from June 29 – July 21, 2021, and will see Farms.com Risk Management Chief Commodity Strategist Maurizio (Moe) Agostino travel 12 U.S. states in the main U.S. Corn Belt including Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Agostino will not only gather observations about current corn and soybean growing conditions in the mid-west to estimate 2021 crop yields, he will also speak with high yield corn and soybean farmers and experts who will share their tips as well as expectations for the growing year.

Agostino will provide insights from the 2021 10th US Corn Belt Crop Tour and find out what farmers and experts across the U.S. Corn Belt are saying and what impact weather is having on crops. The July 12th USDA crop report will reflect the estimates from the market moving June 30th and Quarterly Grain Stocks Report and will adjust acres accordingly, but it is also the first report that can make changes to yield estimates.
