“A real evergreen is a central symbol of the Christmas celebration and we encourage Ontarians to add a local touch to their holiday décor this year by choosing a real tree,” said Drew Spoelstra, President of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture (OFA). “Christmas trees are just one of the more than 200 agricultural crops and products that are grown and raised here in Ontario and we appreciate everyone who supports Ontario farmers, whether it’s by buying local or signing on to be part of our Home Grown campaign.”
