Cargill Ltd. announced Monday, its plans to expand its rail-loading capacity at its Rosetown, Saskatchewan location. The expansion will be from 50 to 100 rail cars, making it Canada’s third-largest grain handler.
This is the second time this year that Cargill has announced an expansion. In Dec. an expansion was announced for its Kindersley, Sask. Facility. Construction for the expansion is expected to start this month, with hopes to be completed before fall’s harvest. The cost of the Rosetown expansion hasn’t been disclosed.
