This recall is being classified as Class I with a high health risk, meaning it’s “a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death”.
The products being recalled are:
- 16-oz. (454g) refrigerated packages of "HARRIS TEETER FRESH FOODS MARKET CHEF’S RECIPE CHICKEN AND WILD RICE SOUP” with UPC code “6108819179,” product code “57878”, a “SELL-BY 01/31/15” in the bottom right corner of the label, and “P-19198” inside the USDA inspection label.
The products were shipped to grocery stores in Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington.
