The search warrant issued for the massive maple syrup theft dating back to early October of this year is now coming to a close. Three arrests have been made in connection with the maple syrup theft in Quebec. Reports range the goods stolen to be valued at $20 to $30 million. The suspects have been detained and are expected to face charges Tuesday for theft, conspiracy, fraud and trafficking stolen goods. Police also seized some vehicles, equipment and electronics that are believed to have been used as part of the trafficking plot. The theft was originally discovered during a routine inventory check at the warehouse located in St-Louis-de-Blandford, Quebec. There are still arrest warrants for five other people who are believed to be in connection with the maple syrup heist.
