Youth Program Supports New Ideas for Sustainable Food Systems
The AGCO Agriculture Foundation and Cultivating New Frontiers in Agriculture (CNFA) announce a joint effort to support young leaders in agriculture. With a $450,000 grant over three years, the program will select 30 “Youth AgriChampions” to advance sustainable agri-food systems across the United States.
These AgriChampions will be young farmers and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40. They will be chosen for their achievements and interest in digital agriculture, climate-smart farming, and innovative food system solutions.
Each year, 10 new AgriChampions will take part in a six-month leadership program. They will receive training, mentoring, and a share of a $45,000 grant to help launch or grow their agricultural ideas in their communities. The goal is to give these young leaders the tools they need to bring positive change to food systems.
