10 Barns With Unique Designs

Thomasson Barn

Thomasson Barn

The Thomasson Barn was built in 1929 in Virginia's Prince William County. Its exterior is made of terra cotta blocks to resemble bricks. The first floor of the barn was used for milking cows, the second was used for hay storage.

In 2015, Silva Holdings announced plans to restore the barn to include a brewery, tasting room and beer garden. The renovation cost an estimated $8 million and was completed in 2016.
