Top Crop Manager hosted its Soil Management and Sustainability Summit in Saskatoon. Experts from across Canada covered topics such as precision farming, cover crops, soil fertility management, intercropping and more.
Dr. Don Flaten presented research completed with Amy Mangin at the University of Manitoba that re-evaluated nitrogen management for high yielding spring wheat. The research looked into the most effective and efficient combinations of N application rates, timings and sources for spring wheat production at yields up to 130 bushels per acre.
