Derek MacKenzie presents an outline of what soil health is, why it's important to the Alberta farmer, and how his lab is working with producers to generate data on regenerative farming practices to populate a soil health database and drive a management app.

MacKenzie is an Associate Professor, Soil-Plant Relations Lab, University of Alberta.
