At the Ontario switchgrass field day on August 16th, 2019 Don Nott is interviewed and discusses biomass markets and his 4th year seed field of RC Big Rock upland switchgrass. It is a variety developed by REAP-Canada out of Cave-in-Rock switchgrass. Its main advantages are increased height and erectness, reduced lodging and a longer growing season resulting in higher biomass yields.
