Glenn Tait, a director of Sask Wheat and grain farmer at Meota SK, discusses Bill C-49, currently before the Canadian Parliament, and its potential effects on Western Canadian grain farmers through its proposed amendments especially to the Canada Transportation Act. He also looks at some grain transportation issues that are not addressed in Bill C-49 and at concerns about the possible negative effects on farmers of a delay in passing the bill.
